New Clients
New self-pay clients are welcome. I am currently unable to accept new health insurance clients. Auto accident clients are accepted on a case by case basis.
Whether massage is already part of your care or this is your first experience, you don’t need to arrive knowing exactly what you need. We’ll begin with what brings you in and go from there.
Your first visit will begin with a brief conversation about what brings you in, what you’ve been experiencing, and what feels most important to address that day.
Your session will be adapted as we go. I’ll check in as needed, and you’re always welcome to ask questions, request changes in pressure or positioning, or let me know what helps you feel most comfortable.
There is no predetermined routine and no expectation that you arrive with a specific treatment plan in mind.
What to Expect
New-client intake form should be completed before your appointment whenever possible. You may complete it ahead of time and return it by email or bring it with you to your appointment. Additionally, please review the Acknowledgment of Privacy Practices.
If you prefer to complete your forms at the studio, please arrive about 10 minutes early so we have enough time without cutting into your session.
Before your First Visit
Preparing for Your Session
There’s very little you need to do to prepare. Wear whatever is comfortable and come as you are that day.
You don’t need to stretch beforehand, identify every area that feels tight, or decide which techniques you think you need. If something has been bothering you, simply tell me what you’ve been noticing and we’ll start there.
Policies/Practical Details
Appointments begin and end at the scheduled time, so arriving a few minutes early is helpful—especially for your first visit.
Payment is due at the time of service. Please provide at least 48 hours’ notice if you need to cancel or reschedule, except in the case of illness or emergency.
